When he decided to grow Vistive® low-linolenic soybeans last year, Dennis Bogaards, of Pella, Iowa, figured the premium for contracting them would improve his bottom line. Based on what he’d read and heard, he expected to see average yields from the specialty beans. He planted the field next to his grain storage site to Vistive beans. Later, he applied fungicide in strips across the field as part of the Iowa Soybean Association On-Farm Network™ replicated strip trial fungicide studies.
